Last time I bought Sangsom 1L at 7-11, had a sip and gave away the whole bottle to the Thai. I've never tried Regency as the stores were always out of it for some reason. I'll try it this time. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried for the first time Blend 285 black label. It didn't have aviation gasoline aftertaste like you get from Hong Tong. The best out of the bunch was moonshine that I've got from the local friend. Delicate, yet powerful stuff

those are totally different liquors
Sangsom, Mekhong, Hong Thong is a Thai rum made from mainly Molasse (sugar cane) and some rice
Regency is a brandy made from grapes and probably some other fruits; another one produced in Thailand from a different company is Meridian
Blend 285 is similar to a whisky
