Trying to book YYZ-ARN-EDI, with a stopover in ARN. When I search the AC website, I get this option presented to me:

YYZ-ARN: 53.8k + $113 taxes (J)
ARN-EDI: 7.5k + 11 taxes (Y)
which totals 61.3k plus $124. Add 5k for the stopover, so 66.3k + $124 taxes

However when I select each of these flights and go to the confirmation page, the options I'm given are:

68,800 points plus $994
91,700 points plus $559
114,700 points plus $122.57
126,957 points

Any idea what's happening here?


EDIT: Look like I can just book them separately for the proper price (and not pay the stopover fee - duh!), but still curious about what the explanation for the above is.
