Waitlisting would be pretty useless if E never opens up (which is very often the case).

If you're an actual elite you're on the waitlist on awards when U opens up for your elite bucket so you can get upgraded into the F cabin. Not sure AS is going to prioritize randos who buy AS miles for upgrades or churn the BofA card so they can fly CX/QR/JX/etc premium cabins over MVPK100s on award or cash fares just because said rando booked at T-330 and the MVP100K booked later.
