That's really not a valid analysis. Using that reasoning, all Federal salaries are "cheap" because Federal employees pay taxes. And when the government buys something (like an aircraft carrier, for instance), a lot of that money goes to pay workers, who also pay taxes.

The fact is that the cost of the TSA is real cost. And ultimately we bear it.
