I searched but didnt find anything directly on point. I am flying form ATL to HND in a month and I was curious of the best time to purchase an upgrade to Delta One or Premium Select from Main Cabin. The prices have staid pretty steady and I was curious if anyone has experience/advice on the best time to purchase for the best price. There are about 1/3 of seats left in each and would it be better to wait until a day or two before the flight or is there a certain percentage/price that would be best to jump on if it happens. Rates are about $4200 for Delta One.
