FWIW I just happened to look again and the fare is back to $1474. I canceled and rebooked, and now I have a credit. It booked in W on the outbound; previous ticket was in V. The return is in H on both reservations.

But, question: the website said they'd refund the miles and upgrade copay. They refunded the miles but not the copay. Does that just take a day or two?
