Seems about right.
OTOH, accumulating one additional banked SE year every year based upon CC benefit seems unreasonably generous in comparison. If I manage to accumulate five banked years when I retire, I might not even care about reaching 3 MM status, at a point in life when travel will no longer be a major part of my life.
The only change I'd like is to make the companion more like UA's. Let me change it every year. Just throw a "50K for a friend" in my benefits tab every January, the way the Chase Level Up and select benefit work.
If you get a new wife, you might want to transfer the companion status to the new one, obviously. Makes lots of sense I suppose. :-)
