Previously the schedule for LHR-NYC was trimmed between Christmas and New Year due to the reduced business travel and holidays on both sides of the pond.

Travel patterns have changed post covid and there were often a lot of bargain premium leisure travellers that week and business travel whilst rising is not what it was,

Do BA have flights in the schedule that you can book onto that they cancel closer to the time if loads are light or do they just remove certain flights/rotations from the outset meaning no cancellations are necessary.

If it’s the former when do they ‘normally’ get cancelled and it’s it a certain flight number/rotation that is cancelled.

I realise there’s several flights both before and after mine but I’m wanting to book maybe Blade transfers and/or theatre tickets that I don’t want to lose out on if I arrive a few hours later,
