I got a change notification (well not really - I just noticed it in the app). I was waitlisted on both of the outbound and return segments. I confirmed the choices and now it looks like I'm in J for 1 segment on each flight.
I thought that I'd try on the computer to pick seats, but can't even bring up the booking. When I try to click on my booking out of the scrollable list, I get a weird JSON page with no data. When I enter the booking code a different trip (my next trip) shows up and I get "We are temporarily unable to process your request. Please try again later. (err-7)"
Update: In the app (and clicking on choose seats in the confirmation email) I can choose my seats, but I still have all my seats in Y and can't choose J seats. When I click on eupgrades in the confirmation email, it gives me a link to get a refund for the remaining value of the booking. When I try cowtool, I get "An error occurred. Check your input and try again." This can't be good! I'll give it a day or two to hopefully clear up (trip is in April), but I expect that I'll have to call in
