Wasn't fun having the phone go off with the emergency alert at 4:30 AM yesterday morning and when I pulled up the local news on the phone, saw the news coverage zeroed in over the base. One of the multiple funnel clouds passed very close to our house but thankfully wasn't on the ground at the time. They did close the gate there for a few hours due to extensive debris and such that needed to be cleaned up but had the gate back open by mid-morning. Thankfully that tornado wasn't a few hundred feet more more north or it would have gone through main part of the USAF Museum as opposed to the restoration hangar actually located on the base.
