On the A350 I find anything further forward than row 3 very crowded, the aisle narrows significantly and invariably during the meal service there are people standing waiting for the toilets, cabin crew trying to get past etc. I would avoid row 1 for this reason.
Thanks for the reply--I hadn't heard about the viewpoint of narrowing of the cabin. I thought since it's an overnight flight there might be less walking in the aisles in general. Might have to rethink that row 1 although the larger footwell is so tempting....
