I once had an incredibly expensive stay at the Ritz Macao show up in my stay listing. It had a completely different name but my Bonvoy number. Had I left it, think of the points I could have earned. I contacted Ambassador Service, though, who removed my number from the reservation. My assumption is that the staff at the hotel mistyped the guest’s MB number.
