Quick Q - this thread has prompted me to note the expected 'old'/pre Oct Avios for an upcoming trip as likely significantly less on a 'spend based' so want to ensure they post as expected. Have an AA ticketed AA flight number but AY operated transatlantic HEL-JFK as part of this. Would this earn based on AA or AY 'old' rewards calculator? Hadn't realised AA tickets had moved to spend based avios earning now so this thread was helpful!
