The ticket started in Japan with the AA RTW desk issuing the ticket. I was able to change to a different flight that departs this Sunday. AA and EF both showed A class. It is when I want to move to another date, that A class is not available to AA. If I wanted the 6 am flight, both AA and EF show A is available. But the flights later in the day have EF showing availability, but not AA. I ready to give up since I believe that this is an AA revenue mgmt issue and not a glitch between the 2 systems.
Have you made sure that point of sale is set to Japan when checking?
