What's disappointing about no lounge access through status here? Hilton has made it clear in their benefits chart which brands confer automatic lounge access to Diamond members, and Waldorf Astoria is
not one of them; attaching the below screenshot from the app for reference.
Then again, being misled by an online team is something I'm dreadfully used to after years as a Marriott Ambassador, so the best thing to do is to take it upon oneself to get information; I've always found calling/emailing the property in question the best bet.
