2. Interline onto ANA, which has a 7:15pm departure

4. Overnight at HND, then 6:30am flight the following day
I am aware JL has basic responsibilities under UK 261.
There will be staff at the arrival gate to manage passengers with connections. Provided of course it is a single ticket. JAL states the delay to be due to route conditions. They pushed back slightly late, but not unusually late for the flight.
1. Should be fine from a flight perspective. They are likely not going to pay for a taxi from Kansai.
2. Probably not a problem, provided there are seats on the flight. Not that the connection is much better.
3. Certainly is an option they use when needed. Last connection is 21:36 from Shinagawa.
4. I don't think it should come to this.
The staff will have a plan ready, and if your SO wants another one of the options above, it might take a bit of convincing. But basically should be possible.
