Yes. Happens for me 20% of the time. You can see it in the app and there is a link to resend confirmation details if you want the email (I like having them, too).
I couldn't see trips in my Android app either. My wife couldn't see her upcoming trips in her iPhone app. I pretty much always have to manually add trips to my app.
