Wow . . I lived in Tahoe for 5 years, late 80’s early 90’s. My first job was in the Race Dept at Heavenly. Went the entire season with only 1 “race” - not a good year for snow. I love snow! Would love to be there now - imd be the only person driving in, instead out out.

The airport actually had scheduled flights when I lived there. Not sure now?

PS. My now ex husband worked for Continental. I non-rev’d it in and out of Reno - it’s a steep ascent/descent (landing/rake off). I think the airport is 4,000 feet?
