On Express flights that typically consists of the shelf-stable cheese plate served on a tray, but in the past I've had mainline flights that were coded "S" but ended up serving a full meal.
Just flew ORD-DEN-GEG, both flights between 800 and 900 miles and listed as snack, snack basket on both. Not too long ago would have had a meal on both
