I just did one night at the premier on the outbound and 1 night at the grand on the inbound as I was using ticket with miles, no choice but to have a force overnight layover.

At the premier, onsen is included in the room price, also has a Keurig machine to use, a stocked mini fridge is free to use as well, come with some Japanese sweets (wagashi) in room and at the lobby, with upgraded toiletries, separate tub and shower.

At the grand, no coffee maker but just a pot for you to heat up water, you have to pick up all the toiletries before you get in the elevators, tub and shower combo.

I didn't add on the breakfast since I am AA Emerald that can use JL F lounge
I stayed with wife and kid just before New Year's. Paid about $250. This was the room:

3-person room at the Grand

Room type was "superior triple room with onsen ticket." As you can see, it's not big, but certainly adequate. We had 2 big suitcases too. There was room near the entrance for them.
