I just started flying an AONE3 and the next flight is JFK-LAX in A class this Sunday. I want to change the date (ok per RTW rules) but there is no A class inventory according to the RTW agents.. EF says that there is A2 or A3. On EF, it states that if one is looking for A class as an upgrade, use the award and NOT the flight availability option. Does anyone know whether the paid discounted A class has higher priority over upgrade A class inventory? I did make a change in A class that EF showed A0, but AA did have inventory and did rebook me.
