The best LH birthday memory is from 2011... I got rebooked from US Airways DTW-PHL-MUC to DTW-FRA-MUC due to a delay on DTW-PHL. LH had catered the flight to the minimum and as a last minute addition I didn't get any choice of meal nor did the P2 want to get something from F (at first) but relented after I did a demonstrative eye roll:

This was the day/night before my birthday... the next day as I boarded my FRA-MUC the purser showed up with a pdb at my seat and congratulated me for turning a year younger. Lots of looks from the surrounding pax. In flight nearly every FA showed up and shook my hand and the purser gave me a doggy bag with a selection of things she could find in the galley along with a bottle of the current bubbly. While deplaning the captain was standing at the door beside the purser and asked 'is this the birthday boy?' and shook my hand. 🫣🫢
