In answer to your other Q, I have not worked on rigs but have consulted for O&G firms up there.
I do LHR-ABZ at least once a month. T5 crawl is fun too when I do gallery N, gallery S and B. But T3 with the different range of airline lounges in great.
In HKG now having flown two days ago on CX with World of Winners ticket - Really loved AA lounge as deserted with great views. BA lounge awful as too full. CX and QF just fantastic with great booze and also very quiet.
I've done T5 lounges many times. Usually on connections to and from various parts of the world. The occasional DUB too although most of my trips home are subject to the vagaries of Ryanair or Aer Lingus from the grim north. But the T3 lounge crawl is probably the best that UK airports can offer. I nearly missed my flight the last time I did it. I finished up in the BA F lounge on the bubbles and the lounge attendant had to hustle me out the door to get to my gate. I'm pretty sure they knew I was smoking in the bog too but nobody said anything.
