At the knee-level, yes. That and the fact that you don't have someone reclining towards you are the positives for space, but losing the under-seat space is the tradeoff. I pick the bulkhead only as a last resort for that reason. YMMV on preferences here, but losing the under-seat space for my legs isn't worth the extra knee space or not having anyone reclining in front of me. Thankfully others feel differently though, so we're not all fighting for the same seats.

The bulkhead Kodiak seats also lose the seatback tablet holder, but that's not a big deal if you're mainly interested in legroom.
