Bidding for my NRT flight soon. My bid was in normally until like 72 hrs before flight. Then "live-bidding" was initiated and now the system looks differently and tires to motivate me to bid higher.

Is the information displayed here correct and legitimate, or is it a selling tactic?

It says that 4 seats are available for an upgrade, but seems like 10 are available in the cabin. And I'd say I have a solid bid on somewhere on the higher end of 1/3 of the slider. Should I revise the bid? Or just take the chances with the bid I have and then in case I don't get upgraded try to do so at the airport? Any experience with this live bidding?
