I've just had AA re-issue a ticket because of a cancelled flight, which I booked under the old Avios earning system last year.

Any idea if that will push it into the new system? I'd probably lose c30k Avios if that is the case....

Would likely cancel the ticket for refund rather than take the hit on the Avios earning TBH

**Edit: Does anyone have experience successfully claiming back additional Avios through BA customer service when they posted under the new system when they should have posted under the old?
