I cancelled the return leg of a RT flight from Europe to the US today and the CS agent said I would get a flight credit for seven hundred some-odd dollars in my account to use on a future flight. I look in my account and the flight credit is there but has no value. When trying to use it, I get an error. If I look it up, all I get is a confirmation that my flight was cancelled. I tried calling American again but the wait time is ridiculous. Is there some sort of overnight processing needed on this flight credit before I can actually see and use it? I have not gotten an email about my cancelled flight, though it is no longer listed in my upcoming flights list.
