Have mixed feelings on this hotel. I likeed it OH did not.

New and loads ( and there were mopre people than nessasay - 3 to open door etc ) of sstaff - It got a bit "over nice".

Checkin was good, and drinks served in lounge on high floor. Staff there helpful. Not as good selection as sofitel just around the corner. Drinks were "slow" to arrive. Looked like they were previously in fridges , now empty, and I am sure that the Coke Cola was Pepsi ( first world problems ).

Used a SUV, and got an instagaramable room. However it was not the room shown on pictures, but nice anyay. Staff in lounge then "sold" me a second night "upgrade" to t-he same room. They were going to make us move ...$60, thought it was a little mean, but thats how it works, sometimes the gamble pays off, and others it does not, The kick was t*he mini bar was not re stocked either ! ( Soft drinks free )

Breakfast buffet good selectiopn, with staff who remembered you from yesterday.

Majour problem. Roof top bar. Ordered, ate and signed for some nibbles. Left. Back in room.. Knock on door. Guy with a credit car3d machine who would not go away. OH in bath ( can be seen from room door ) not at all happy. Tirns out that they trust you for $100 in mini bar - yet- not for $10 for some nibbles. Bad taste.

Have some pictures when I can fined them. Ask me anything if you need more info. I have stayed at the Sofitel and this one over two weekend and the remaing days we went to Phu Quok ( BTW can take mini bar content-s - soft - onto airline domestic in VN ! - PP lounge also ok )
