Yes, so for the past 2 years or so I've tried repeatedly for both Plat Business and Plat Personal with referral links, incognito links, etc.
ALL have resulted in the Pop Up Jail.
I finally just decided to give up and use my 120k Targeted email link (NLL, not that I've ever had a Platinum card anyway). NO Pop-up.
So for whatever reason, Amex has decided no soup for me unless they specifically target me with the "standard" offer. Oh well.

Better than nothing I guess.
