Tea is so important, especially for us non-booze types.

I've had some great flights with airlines that were not BA...but our transatlantic cousins, although marvellous people in general, just cannot do tea. I had a wonderful tea conversation with an ethnic-Chinese, London-based member of US airline cabin crew on descent in to LHR, in which we swapped tips and favourites...but with the facilities and ammunition on board (and my carry-on tea supply) she simply was not able to produce a decent cup of tea.

On BA we have chaotic boarding, indifferent luggage handling, keystone cops IT, delays, and interiors held together with duct tape and tie wraps...but we have proper tea. A microcosm of Britain.
