one advantage is the 6 hp boat the propeller is automatically controlled so can be lifted with a button in shallow water
the 30 hp one the motor propeller had to be manually lifted so makes things a bit more stressful with the shallow areas when anchoring / avoiding coral ; etc…

all depends on what you want to do in the day and how long you rent for

We purposely only stayed in the one side of the lagoon from the rental place til just after the four seasons and back ; most of the time we puttered slowly and enjoyed the views

if you wanted to do the full circle ; having the 30 hp boat would be very helpful

had already done the full circle on a snorkel tour
Thanks, that’s useful thoughts and I think the 6hp probably suits us well in that case
