So, on SH my tea total is usually zero. It also helps that most of them are in Y and I'm not going to order anything from a menu.
I had a similar experience once on a LHR-JFK flight on the upper deck of a 744. The tea looked a bit darker than normal, and I took a sip of it. It was the most evil, foul, disgusting tea I had ever drank in my entire life. I was in 64K, with nobody in 64J, so I got up and walked back to the galley. I said to the FA that this was either the most evil, foul, disgusting tea I've ever had, or it must be coffee. The FA apologized for the mix up, and gave me a properly wonderful cup of tea which I then thoroughly enjoyed. Other than the coffee incident, they were a wonderful crew on the flight.
