OP did not mention his route, but 34 pax is a widebody for certain, so might well be It'l, and UA still prints Meuns.

Odd, my last 15 flghts in Nov and Dec has seen purser take meal orders in ELITE order about half those flights.

So not sure this is a widespread or "new" policy. And FA's do not have a CLUE of your mile volume off meal manifest. They see Status yes, but that is it. A 101,000 1K AFAIK shows exactly the same as a 200,000 mile IK ... unless a UGS.

Maybe a FA can chime in?
