Typically (any org.) you get a confirmation. Often immediately, sometimes with a delay. I always keep the confirmation page open, and if I don’t see an email within a couple of minutes, screenshot the confirmation.
as mentioned, UA response times can vary - could be a week or two, maybe longer, or maybe not at all.
