Multi-layered query here. An octogenarian relative is planning a trip LHR DUB LHR. BOS LHR. We’d like to surprise them with an F upgrade/booking on the TATL. I'm thinking of booking either a cheap B2B or a night away to meet them from DUB. I’m just curious as to how soon I could meet them? Worried about the tales of poor special assistance. Do I suggest they exit and I’ll meet them at arrivals then escort them to the CCR (so they don’t realise it comes with their ticket?). They’re reasonably mobile and their luggage will be checked through. They’ll be flying between 14:00 and 15:00 so I’ll hang around until SA shows to take them to the gate.
