Rather than "adding" your brother's name to the duplicate / overlapping reservation, which already has your BONV°Y account number, you need to make a completely separate reservation in his name.

If the property would "substitute" his name and BONV°Y number for yours, that would work. Otherwise you will need to make a new reservation.

Let this be a lesson to you. Never, ever, EVER try to be two places at once! Marriott does not recognize bilocation for Elite Qualifying Nights (EQN).

Either use a different person for the other property, or a different hotel chain.
