After reading this thread today, I can now report I've been seeing the same behavior of Pathward 409758 cards in buying MOs at WM.

I have 4 replacement cards being mailed to me and when I saw things going south at my local WMs and another grocer where I used to be able to do 4x500 VGCs for 2 999.00 MOs, I figured I needed to check in here to see what's going on. Now I know...

Two questions:
1) For those of you receiving replacement cards, are you trying to liquidate as $500s again? Or are you doing less $499 for example in getting a $997+$1 fee MO and using $499 on each card? I'm hoping I can lessen the MO amount by a few $ to make this still work.
2) I think doing the 2 MO's and showing ID at WM are over. If you try this, then if your 4th card fails, you've likely burned the other 3 cards for an upcoming MO or at least made it more likely you'll need to replace those. That's what I've been seeing.

I think if I just keep it to a $997 MO with $1 fee and $499 on 2 Pathmark VGCs I'll hopefully get what's in my hand liquidated.
