Had a recent one night stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei. In general a pleasant stay with great food with a very friendly English speaking staff. It was sold out the night we stayed but throughout our stay we only saw around two other families and one couple. The room is great being next to the river that streams to Sapporo. Staff picked us up direct from the bus stop and helped arrange car service to the airport after.
Interesting to note is that stays come with a complimentary preloaded card for use at their self serve alcohol dispenser and they have a lounge with free snacks.
