I am booked in business on NZ 28, AKL-IAH, which is the former CX 777. For an added fee, you can book into the six Business Premier seats, which CX used to operate as First.

Any thoughts on which suite is best out of 1A and 2D? 1A seems a bit close to the lav, which would be fine in a six seat First cabin, but not so much if the entire Business cabin has access to and uses those facilities.

I have also read reports that 1D and 1K continue to be inoperable.
