I'm curious of other USA Centurion card holders (specifically business) have noticed a drop off in the gifts sent by Amex? Post 2020, I can only remember getting the Prada wearable and a $500 Zenga gift card. For 2023/2024 I don't think we saw anything. Is it just me?
Prior to 2020, I remember eery year I would get 1 to 2 gifts.
Similarly, regarding the personal card, I recall using the $500 credit at the Art place. There was also a $500 credit for a store selling roses that last a year. Additionally, there was another credit mentioned in the monthly Centurion member newsletter for a high-end gift store, but I couldn't find anything to buy there.
It's definitely much thinner now than before. In 1999, we had digital cameras and various cool stuff. I wonder if a lot of budget went into the Centurion Experiences event a year or two ago with Gwyneth Paltrow and other artists. We planned to go to a wine event in San Francisco and a Salman Rushdie reading in LA, but they got canceled due to Covid and other problems.
