...and then some Platinums (e.g. me) got no email at all.

I assume there's some analysis going on in the background relating to your past booking/travel patterns compared to so far this year?
While I have several upcoming bookings, after May some have moved to Porter (thanks to YXE starting), but that wouldn't be a discernible pattern to the WS algorithm yet.
