I lived in Feltham for the last decade and know the locality very well, and flew from LHR regularly across all 4 terminals, 5 if you include T1. My main point was the staff demographics have moved from wide and mixed (very London, a good thing), to narrow and very localised with evident inexperience. And that's money driven IMHO.
