The question is, what will the Gatwick 777s be replaced by? There's not really anything ideal at Heathrow, apart from 4 777-200s that are a bit younger than the rest, which can be moved to Gatwick. 788s are too small, A35K has too big of business cabin, 789s and 78X has first, 77W too big of business cabin and has First, A380s don't even need to say. As much as people wont believe it, I think the Gatwick fleet will receive some brand new planes rather than a Heathrow hand me down. And obviously this means that Gatwick will receive CS, unless they was to introduce a new business cabin dedicated for Gatwick fleet, which I highly doubt they will.
Anything can be configured differently. EVA Air has their 787-10 at 330+ seats, and their 789s at 300+. Conversely, JAL flies 788s with less than 200 seats.
