My observations (totally subjective!):
1) 3rd party airline involved
2)Booked on AF and not KLM, AF seems to be proving difficult based on past comments.
3) some of the flights had cancellation or reschedule and whilst original tickets were reinstated, following such new cancellation/reschedule, maybe somehow he had to confirm the new flight details and not just wait? again it seems it went like. reinstatement-flight change-then maybe a missing last step?
4)Interacted with them on whatsapp and they seemed to have found something then on his ticket?
To me, there are quite lots of complexities here compared to a straightforward : Booked on KLM , no interaction since reinstatement and fly OSL-AMS-INC on KLM metal with no schedule changes....
Again just general observations.
