I'm considering a 3-night stay here for a birthday trip at the beginning of June. This seems to fall into rainy season... has anyone been there around that time? Should we expect short but intense rainstorms, or is it likely to be prolonged bad weather? We have no status with IHG (zero nights) and no easy path to getting to 40 nights. It sounds like paying for the lounge does offer a lot of extra value, though, and the terrace pool villa looks really stunning. The rate for both comes to $1k/night, which is definitely more than we usually spend... but also not too crazy for a couple of nights. It sounds like we'd have two breakfast options: the main restaurant and the lounge? Plus all-day snacks and drinks at the lounge pool... sounds like a good way to spend a relaxing day!
