Just recently flew PPT-LAX in Y. Catering was odd. Dinner was described as "pasta or chicken". We chose the "pasta" but it ended up being 95% cheese with a few small slivers of zucchini thrown in there. Not a noodle to be found. Then, not to be outdone, the pre-landing meal was a cheese sandwich, with extra cheese layered on. I can't imagine D1 was much better. Lol
Separately, has anyone ever seen the strawberry guava hard seltzer or the Fat Tire actually loaded on any flights? They are advertised on the inflight menu, but do not seem to be available on any DL connection, mainline domestic, or mainline international flight that I have been on. FAs have never heard of them either.
I’ve had both Topo Chico and Fat Tire on recent flights.
