The Swiss hotel is in a dreadful location. If you really do like local spots then yes it would suit your needs. Pullman Bangkok G location is better and probably around the same cost. Yes, it’s close to Patong Market but at least it’s within a 25 minute walk of the riverside city, boats for the river, and icon Siam.
