(Actually, I don't object to discussing motive specific to this effort. But I think 8 of the 12 posts prior to my complaint were not about her crusade, or her motive on this fight - they were on getting banned, on censoring ebay mentions, etc...)
From a BFT business point of view, I think the issue of BFT not getting their % of the $10/day is minimal compared to the larger possibility of people avoiding PL (and BFT) altogether for fear of extra fees.
Yes, fees for parking and internet access are a pain, but these are, at least in theory, voluntary. Take a taxi and use dialup, you don't pay. But the mandatory fees are heinous. Whatever her motive, if she can somehow get PL to include or disclose the fees before you commit, that would be a big boon to all PL users.
Come to think of it, if they were not part of your bid but were disclosed with the other taxes & fees on the final confirmation, that could be a big clue as to what the property will be...
