A couple of things as I wait in the terminal to enter:
1) it was about a 10 minute journey from my B gate to the door of the lounge. My connecting flight is leaving from D, so that is good
2) Huge crowd at the door, and many people streaming in. I am on the 10-15 minute wait list. This lounge is going to be at capacity more or less 100% of the time, especially as word gets out.
I haven’t even been inside, but recognize the issue - with the lounge apparently so much better than the SkyClubs, and with the massive amount of Amex Platinum and Delta Reserve cardholders coming through ATL, this lounge likely sees the most people eligible to enter out of any Centurion Lounge by far. The only real solution here is for Delta to massively improve regular SkyClubs at this airport and to add more of them
