couple reasons...

Rooms are great - got a platinum upgrade to a corner suite which was unreal.

Food is great - Olives (resturant in the hotel) is very good, Union Square Cafe is around the corner and is excellent.

I liked this W better than Honolulu, Atlanta and both them in Chicago easily along with a slight edge over Seattle and San Francisco...
